Ketevan Papava-Lobzhanidze is currently an English Teacher at Batumi Public School No. 2. She has 15 years of experience in formal classroom teaching, syllabus and curriculum development, teacher training and mentoring, and extra-curricular and informal education programming. Ms. Papava-Lobzhanidze currently co-plans and co-teaches lessons with a Peace Corps Volunteer at School No. 2 She is an actve trainer in the Teachers' Professional Development Center (Teachers' House), which is under the umbrella of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. In addition, she is a teacher trainer for British Councils in Adjara. As a teacher trainer, she conducts modules published by different teacher training organizations and formulates her own training sessions. Since 2012, Ms. Papava-Lobzhanidze has been the Access teacher for the English Access Micro-Scholarship Program in Batumi (Batumi Access),which is funded by the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi and implemented by Project Harmony (PH) International.In the Batumi Access Program, students meet three times a week for formal English lessons, and they participate and organize project-based assignments, enrichment activities, and American cultural studies lessons. She has administered the grant for the Batumi Access program through her newly founded NGO "Changes Without Borders" since July 2014.
